An Overview

                     In Germany, in the 1930s, there was change in government. The rise of a totalitarianism dictator, Adolf Hitler, was in pursuit. The German government was weak, along with the citizens. The populace was they were tired of overcoming economic hardships, previously caused by the Great Depression and the terms of the Treat of Versailles. The government had brought the economy to an all time low, leaving many people resentful of the government. Hitler was able to gain the peoples support by convincing them of his beliefs. He was granted the Nazi Party which allowed him to increase his number of followers. Later he was voted into the position of a chancellor after the leader, Paul von Himdemburg, passed. Hitler became the complete leader of Germany, changing it into a totalitarian-dictatorship. Hitler covered up all of the German problems, and appealed to the people by promising a highly satisfying military and economic standing. Hitler was completey for Nazism, which was produced by the Nazis’; it is a combination of fascism and racism. Life in Hitler’s Germany had no privacy as he controlled every aspect of their lives. He believed in anti-Semitism, making life very hard for people to practice Judaism. Life under Hitler’s rein was no ray of sunshine.
